Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellations and refunds work on bookings made with Guruni Tour and Travels.
The supplier's rules come first
Every booking follows the cancellation rules of whoever holds it — the airline, the hotel or the transport operator. Some fares and room rates are completely non-refundable; others allow a refund after a charge. The rules that apply to your booking are written on your quote before you confirm, and we repeat them before anything is cancelled.
Our service charge
Where we have already done the work of making a booking, a service charge may apply to a cancellation or a date change, in addition to the supplier's own charge. The amount is stated on your quote, and we tell you the exact figure and the exact refund before you decide.
How long a refund takes
We can only pass on a refund once the supplier releases it to us. Airlines commonly take two to six weeks; hotels are usually quicker. Once we have it, the money goes back to you by the route you paid, normally within three working days. If a supplier is holding a refund longer than that, we will tell you where it is rather than leaving you to wonder.
Cabs and outstation journeys
A cab cancelled well before the pickup time normally carries no charge. Cancelling close to the pickup, or after the car has started towards you, may carry a charge for the distance already run. For a booking with an advance, the charge is taken from the advance and the balance returned.
No-shows and unused tickets
A no-show is usually non-refundable. On an unused air ticket some taxes can sometimes be recovered even when the fare cannot — ask us and we will raise it with the airline for you.
Starting a cancellation
Ring or WhatsApp +91 73547 29911, or come to the office on B G Road. Please do it as early as you can: on most bookings the charge grows the closer you get to travel.
